Burberry Hires Former Gucci Executive Jonathan Kiman as New Chief Marketing Officer

Burberry has named Jonathan Kiman, the previous Chief Marketing Officer of Gucci, as its latest CMO, with his official start date slated for 9 September.

Kiman has dedicated a decade to Gucci, occupying numerous high-level roles, including senior vice president of brand, strategy, and marketing prior to stepping into the CMO position.

Prior to his time at Gucci, he was the chief brand officer for Versace, a renowned Italian fashion brand.

In his fresh role at Burberry, Kiman will succeed Rod Manley and will supervise the firm’s global marketing division, reporting directly to CEO Joshua Schulman.

Additionally, Burberry has recruited Laura Dubin-Wander, the previous CEO of OTB North America, as its new president for the Americas, effective today (4 September).

Dubin-Wander will manage Burberry’s operations across the Americas and boasts an impressive history, having held senior positions such as president for Coach North America, vice president at Christian Dior Couture, and president of Givenchy.

I am eager to partner with him to enhance our marketing functions and reinforce the Burberry brand.”

He further remarked: “Laura is a dynamic, results-driven leader with a demonstrated history of developing high-performing teams. I am looking forward to collaborating to grow our business in the Americas.”
