Uniqlo Unveils Exciting Flagship Location in Coal Drops Yard

Uniqlo has officially inaugurated its new location at Coal Drops Yard and is set to unveil its updated store in London’s White City Westfield on 10 October.

The Japanese fashion brand’s latest outlet commenced operations at 11am on 19 September, occupying roughly 800 square meters across three levels.

Situated within a Grade II listed Victorian coal drops shed, the shop features the Uniqlo Studio on the second floor, which offers customers the chance to recycle, repair, or remake their garments, promoting longevity and sustainability.

In partnership with East Japan Railway Company, a vending machine has been placed on the second floor, featuring selected items from Uniqlo’s kidswear line for shoppers.

Moreover, the retailer has positioned custom-made ping pong tables on the outdoor terrace of the second floor for the enjoyment of shoppers and nearby residents.

Alessandro Dudech, Uniqlo UK’s chief operating officer, expressed: “We are thrilled to be continuing our UK expansion with these two new store openings in fall/winter 2024.”

“We are excited to be able to offer LifeWear to the local communities of people who live and work in the vibrant Coal Drops Yard and Kings Cross area and look forward to welcoming back customers to the renovated White City store in October.”
