Uniqlo is launching its first store in Scotland as it continues its London expansion next year.
The new Edinburgh shop on Princes Street will have a sales floor of around 1,430 sq meters across 2 floors.
The fashion retailer’s London store will open within the One Oxford Street development next to Tottenham Court tube station, with a sales floor of roughly 1,533 sq meters.
Uniqlo currently has 17 sites across the UK, with the business opening its Covent Garden store in April.
Back in September, Uniqlo expanded to a larger store at Bluewater, after trading at the shopping centre for over a decade.
Uniqlo UK COO Alessandro Dudech said: “We are excited to take this next big step in the U.K.’s expansion plans with two new stores in Spring 2024. It’s an honour to be opening in not only a new city but a new country.”
