Superdry’s Craig McGregor Resigns as Chief Commercial Officer
Craig McGregor has resigned from his position as chief commercial officer at fashion retailer Superdry after a four-year stint.
The announcement of McGregor’s imminent departure comes as the company eagerly awaits shareholder approval of its restructuring plan aimed at revitalizing the brand.
Industry publication Drapers reports that McGregor will leave his post in the upcoming weeks.
McGregor joined Superdry in March 2020 as global retail director, progressed to global commercial director in November 2022, and was promoted to chief commercial officer in January of the same year.
With a robust background in retail management, McGregor held influential roles, including retail director at chains Wilko and Specsavers, and a significant eight-year term at Topshop, where he played a pivotal role in their expansion throughout the UK, the US, and Europe.
In response to inquiries, Superdry stated, “Our current focus remains on advancing our restructuring proposal to ensure the brand’s sustainable future. As per our standard practice, we do not publicize particulars on employee affairs.”
Furthermore, Superdry has confirmed the recent addition of Halfords’ Dafydd Moore as the new technology director, while the rest of the leadership team stands steady at this point in time.
