Apart from jerseys, searches for “England flag” have surged by 1,642% in anticipation of the team’s final showdown against Spain, as indicated by the retailer.
A representative from BoohooMan commented: “The success at the Euros has triggered a substantial uptick in interest for England’s soccer kit and flag as the British rally behind national pride heading into the final against Spain.
“Our data suggests that interest peaked right after the match when England overcame the Netherlands.”
They added: “Football jerseys are increasingly becoming a favored option for everyday attire, with a notable surge in fascination for vintage jerseys reaching unprecedented levels.”
The Euros not only sparked interest in football but also boosted sales across the industry, with John Lewis witnessing a surge in TV sales even prior to the start of the 2024 UEFA European football championship in June.
Last month, Argos forecasted that they would be retailing four televisions per minute during the summer of sporting events.
